Parent Involvment

Although LNS is not a true cooperative, we still rely a great deal on the voluntary efforts of our parents to make our school run smoothly. In addition to serving on the Board and driving on field trips, there are many ways to help out – making snacks for special events, assisting the fundraising chairperson in activities or participating in assorted projects – the possibilities are endless!

Volunteer Positions

Board Member

Every year we have positions for parents on our Board of Directors as President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Member at Large

Fundraising

Asisting with fundraising activities, such as the annual bake sale, Kids Kreation art fundraiser, silent auctions, etc.

Classroom

Assists with classroom events and activities, and coordinates recognition of staff for holidays and Teacher Appreciation week.

Recycling

Remove the trash and recycling at the school once a week.

Field Trips

We plan field trips for our preschool classes throughout the school. Parents are an integral component of making these field trips a success. Any parent assisting with transportation for a field trip needs to have a valid drivers license and auto insurance.
